With film Lenin’s Pawn, he claimed #DocsConnect Training Award at the Astra Film Festival DokTank Lab, a testament to his outstanding contributions to the world of cinema.
Dragoș Turea’s journey in the world of documentaries began in 2007 when he made his mark with Vasile Mamaliga. This impactful documentary earned him the prestigious Moldova Cinematographer’s Union Debut Prize. His storytelling prowess didn’t stop there. In 2010, Dragoș ventured into the realm of feature-length documentaries, presenting Grădina Sovietică / The Soviet Garden.
