Our mentor, Alba Sotorra, won a Días de Cine Award for Best Animation for Rock Bottom.
Nicola von Leffern, a #DocsConnect Conscious Filmmaking Lab 2024 alumna, and Jakob Carl Sauer won two awards at the Max Ophüls Film Festival for their film To Close Your Eyes and See Fire: the Film Critics’ Award for Best Documentary and Best Music in a Documentary Film. Peter Drössler, a #DocsConnect mentor, is also a producer of the film.
